PayPal USA Community Chat 10/4 - Closed

Hey everybody!

 

Join the PayPal Community Forums moderation team in our weekly USA Community Chat on Wednesday, October 4th, from 1-2pm PT (4-5pm ET).

 

Our moderator staff will be here to answer your questions regarding PayPal. Hi everybody!

 

This week's USA Community Chat is now open and unlocked! 

 

Our moderator staff will be available for the next hour to answer your questions about PayPal. We do ask that posts follow the PayPal Community Help Forum Policy and the Forum Guidelines.

 

Once the session is over, this thread will be locked again, but you will be able to view the content in the forums.  This chat is a regular feature every Wednesday from 1pm to 2pm PT, so if you missed us this week, please feel free to stop by in the future!

Tranfer problem. Transfer to bank states completed , however no money in account.

Thanks for stopping by our chat! I'm sorry to hear that there's some confusion with a transfer. Smiley Sad What kind of transfer are you having troubles with? A transfer to another PayPal account, a transfer to a bank account or a transfer to a debit card?

Thanks for clarifying that for me, @awmawm. Smiley Happy When a withdrawal to a bank account is marked as "Completed," it means that it has completed through our system. PayPal has no control over the length of time it takes your bank to post their credits, and we do not receive confirmation when your credit has been received by your bank.

 

While most withdrawals to bank accounts take about 1 business day, they can take up to 5 business days to post to the bank. Usually if there is a problem with the transfer completing, it is rejected back to PayPal and the funds are reversed back into the PayPal account.

My bank stated that there are no transfers pending in their system.
