Hi Everybody!

 

We will be facilitating the UK Community Chat with our moderation team starting on Wednesday the 13th of December between 4pm and 6pm GMT.

Hi, my account has been limited. I have been asked to upload ID ( done ) and to resolve issues with two accounts that PayPal say share information with me. I don't have any idea who the supposed email / PayPal accounts belong to or how they have my information. I have spoken to customer serrvice over the phone, via Twitter and Facebook yet keep getting the same request to solve issues with the accounts that do not belong to me. I have items waiting to be shipped and customers waiting yet I do not want to send anything until things are resolved. Can you help?

Hi @eelaci,.

 

Unfortunately, we cannot discuss or take any direct action on accounts through contact on this public platform. I would suggest you send a statement through the secure Message Centre on your account, stating you do not recognise the linked accounts. Please rule out any friend or family member with a PayPal account with issues, that you may have shared some details with in the past.

Hi, basically I have a buyer who messed up an order and is asking for a refund but his payment is being held until the 1st of January and I cannot refund until the money is avaliable is there anyway I can cancel the transaction or something?

Hi @3than2,

 

If you received a payment and it is completed, there should be an option to refund the transaction in the Activity section details. If it has not completed, you may have to wait for the funding to clear. I am surprised you have to wait so long.  

I would advise you to send an email request through the secure Message Centre on your account or to call our Support on 0800 358 7911.

Alright, yeah I pressed refund but it keeps trying to charge my card as apparently the funds are on hold for almost a month and emai won't reply and I called them and they said I'd have to wait but now I have a really angry customer.

Hi, I've been having problems with my paypal with my backup account due to a refund. I have spoken to several advisors plus managers. When I last spoke to a manager he said that I had to make a few more payments in able for it to work again? This has been an on going case for a week and no one has seem to been able to help me? I have been using paypal for a couple of years and I have never had this problem up until now? Many thanks.
