As winter starts to kick in and the first few cold fall breezes are swirling around us, it's good to warm up and start the day right.  What do you start out with in the morning for breakfast?

Most mornings I am in a mad dash to get myself and my child ready for the day, however when we happen to have a few extra mintes in the morning we share a bowl of oatmeal.

That explains why you're so frequently covered in oatmeal, Zazu! 😉

I am usually in a rush too. By the time I can wrap my mind around sustenance, it's time for lunch. Since I really have to be in the mood for breakfast-type foods anyway, it works out just fine.

I'm weird, though. I am usually only interested in breakfast-type foods when I really shouldn't be eating at all, like midnight.

Oatmeal is something I've been able to stomach as I've grown older (and kudos to you for daring to feed it to a child), but if I had my choice.... sausage patties, english muffins and scrambled eggs, some orange juice, or just a big plate of biscuits and gravy.

Hi everyone,

I typically eat oatmeal and yogurt for breakfast but if it's really cold, I like to warm up with some tea, Earl Grey, hot. 🙂
