Compatible devices for the Paypal Reader

Hello,

I have just purchased a new Paypal card reader to enable me to get payments on the go,

However, I would like some guidance on what the best phone would be for this to be compatible with,

I did ask Paypal some time ago but no one responded to my request for a list of non compatible phones

would appreciate some guidance please, as I am a newbie at this, thanks in advance
