When i was aske by paypal to update my debit card i was also promted to link it, by doing so how would linking it benifit my paying or withdrawing monys from paypal? I have allready linked my bank account, so do i need to link my debit card.

If you ONLY have a bank account added then your payments will go as echeques and take about a week to clear.

However if you have a back up card registered to paypal as well then paypal will credit the seller in advance for you and then wait for your payment to arrive from your bank account.

The card gives added protection.
