i have paid for an item through PayPal but issued it be taken from my Bank Account

I understand that the funds can take up to a few days to be taken from my bank account, but will the seller get a noticfation that the payment is pending or do they get a notifaction that they can ship my items ?

Is it marked as pending in your paypal account or completed?

Then the seller has been paid.

What happens is when you pay for your item paypal will CREDIT the seller the funds, this is so you get your item more quickly.

Then paypal will take the wait for your funds to transfer from your funding source.

BUT they only take that risk if you fund the payment from your bank account if you have a back up card linked to your paypal account as well to reduce any risk to them.

The funds can leave your bank account at any time from 2 hours up to 3 days later (although its normally a few hours). BUT your seller has already been paid and is processing your order.
