eBay Order Error

I have just bought a set of personalised save the date card from eBay. As they were personalised I left the details in the 'note to seller' box.

I received the item and there is an error. I contacted the seller and she said she just put on what it said on the paypal invoice.

Now I looked at the ebay order details and all the information that I sent to seller is there however when I view the paypal details the end of the sentance is missing off therefore missing the last bit of my name off.

The seller replied back and said this is a paypal error - so my question is - who do I go to, to rectify this? eBay or PayPal?

Thanks.

Neither, it would have been better to have sent a separate message to the seller confirming the details as note to seller boxes only have xxx amount of characters allowed and you must have been over that amount.

But how come it shows up on the eBay order details? Surely it would warn me if there weren't enough room?!

Yes that does seem odd.

Why don't you ask ebay via their live chat link OR

If you're contacting from the UK, you can get in touch with eBay at 0845 355 3229. Alternatively, you can get in touch with them through social media, either via Twitter (https://twitter.com/AskeBay) or Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/eBay.co.uk).

Sometimes they will refund as a goodwill gesture if its not yours or the sellers fault.
