claim payment from seller

hi

i have opened a dispute with a seller on the 9th dec so it is now 10 days with no response.

what happens if the seller hasnt got the funds to pay back the funds ??

or does paypal take the money when a dispute is filed

Under buyer protection if a seller does not have funds in their paypal account balance and don't pay you back then paypal pay you back under their buyer protection scheme.

Then they put the sellers account into negative until the seller pays paypal back, but that does not matter to you as you will have already been refunded.

They give the seller 10 days and if no refund or item then you normally get a refund on day 11.
