adding a card...

I had my debit card on already with my paypal account which i have bought items from ebay as recently as the last month, ive logged in today to pay for something i've won, it's got my old card on there, it's expired, trying to re-input my new card, and it comes with this message

We're sorry, but that credit card can't be linked to additional PayPal accounts. Please link a different credit card.

This card is already linked to my paypal account, this is the card i have been paying with before, my only problem is it wont let me pay for it and at the same time wont let me re input it, what do i do?

Do you mean the old card expired and you are trying to add the new one??

If so it may just need updating with a new expiry date etc.

Instead of adding try editing the old one and updating it.
