What is my PayPal account number?

PayPal, how do you expect to be paid if you HIDE MY ACCOUNT NUMBER?????  Even the statements have the account number hidden and I need this number to have a check sent to PayPal.  I DO NOT WANT TO LINK A FAMILY MEMBERS CHECKING ACCOUNT TO MY PAYPAL ACCOUNT.  IF THIS IS MY ACCOUNT, WHY IS MY ACCOUNT NUMBER SUCH A BIG SECRET?

That is ridiculous, Wayne. You need the number. You can't put an email address on a paper check or money order.

The simplest way to know your paypal account number is to go to WWW.PAYPAL.COM and LOGIN to your account. After login to your ACCOUNT click on ADD FUND. Then a dialogue box will open at the next page with two suggestions. Click "CONTINUE" under the first one by your left that says "YOU MOVE MONEY FROM YOUR BANK ACCOUNT". At the next page you will find an important message with your ACCOUNT NUMBER, SORT CODE and CUSTOMER REFERENCE/ID with PAYPAL as the name of the account. Simple and instant transfer...😃 Summary-: WWW.PAYPAL.COM+LOGIN+ADD FUND+CONTINUE.

I dont want to add my bank to my PayPal account.

I want to set up auto bill pay with my bank. I want my bank to have my PayPal account.

My paypal account was created few years back around 3-4 years. I was inactive doing paypal transactions then but recently due to my employers payment preference I started using it again about 2 two weeks now upon writing this message. Received first payment as pending and 2nd payment already available in my acccount.

I just recently got limited access in Paypal due to some activity I actually did which PAYPAL sees as suspicious, transferring a very small portion of my funds to my bf's account  twice as a test/trial if a payment will go through since I am yet to link another card on my bank account. I linked a temporary account on my "Bank Account" thinking I might need this to be able to receive and move in some funds from my new employer.


Now to get rid off of the "LIMITED" status and I am required to send/do PHOTO ID (which I did), Change password, Update my security Questions. 

Note: When trying to Change Password and Update My Security Questions as to Resolve the issue, I am prompted to enter my Full Account Number as security protocol which I understand but I found out doesnt match mine rather it has 4 digits (11th-14th in 16-digits CARD NUMBER of that very same card) that PAYPAL is describing as the last digits registered in my PROFILE. I didn't know exactly how that happened or how it got through or had my card number digits registered instead of my account number.

It's just getting more and more complicated and getting more annoying with the fear of not getting my hard earned money to pay my dues on schedule.


Please if you can assist me my line is always open and would cooperate for further verifications if need just to hasten up the inconvenience.

There are 2 options choose which one you want.

But you do know that as a buyer you never need to do that don't you?

There IS a PayPal account number, it seems only to show when one's bank account is not linked to PayPal.  It's under "Add Money"; click on that and it shows 3 choices - again, only if your bank account is not linked to PayPal.  The middle choice, transfer via Bill Pay, reveals a PayPal account number to use when setting up the Bill Pay on the financial institution website.  BUT...

I've been wrestling with this issue for 3 weeks.  PayPal keep rejecting the Bill Pay transfer, telling my financial institution that the PayPal account number that PayPal is telling me to use, is incorrect or invalid.  PayPal CSRs, including specialists, are baffled and have no explanation to offer.  I don't want my bank account linked to PayPal, which is why I was trying to use Bill Pay.

Anybody else having/had this experience?
