Hi
I have an unclaimed payment from an Ebay purchase today.
The seller had not properly activated their ebay account and has now done so, do I now need to do anything or should it show in their account now when the log-in for them to claim?
Thanks

Does the unclaimed status in your paypal account have the word cancel by it or not??

Kudos / Solution appreciated.

OK then you need to cancel as the seller had the wrong email addy on there auction.
When they changed it it would work on future auctions but not on completed ones.
You can then pay again if they send you an invoice BUT don't go via ebay again or the same thing will happen.
ALSO the cancelled payment will take a few days to return to your funding source.

Hi
Thanks very much for help.
So (and excuse me if I’m being daft) I should cancel payment, request a new invoice and make payment via paypal to the email address given using the pay for goods option?
I take it this payment will still be covered in the same manner as a normal ebay payment would be?
Regards
Derek
