Payment into my PayPal account

Someone is supposed to be buying my car. He says that he has put the money into my PayPal account. How long before I should see this amount in my PayPal account?

Pretty instant BUT beware of scams especially if they say they have paid and want you to pay the shipping agent for them via Western union etc. 

Also I would never accept PayPal for any type of payment for a motor vehicle.  There is no seller protection for them on PayPal. 

Cash on collection only OR direct bank transfer after viewing the car.

Thank you. I did think it was a bit strange. But I'm not sure what he will get out of it. I'll keep an eye out for anything untoward.
