I was thinking of getting PayPal Credit, but was wondering if you can apply for it and then just not use it? Or perhaps apply, use it for one purchase then just never bother with it again? Are there any penalties for doing so, or is just a thing that once you’ve applied for it you always have it, just there in the background for if you do need it? Cheers!

Hi there,
Welcome to the PayPal Community.
You do not need to use it and can cancel your credit account at anytime once there is no outstanding balance. There are no penalties for not using it 🙂
