PayPal Credit Bad Reviews

Hi all,

Just been granted PayPal Credit and have read some pretty scathing reviews about it online so far.

Complaints seem to be grouped into:

• Not knowing that they've paid by Credit when they meant to pay by normal account
• Paying by Credit not occurring, then all the funds being withdrawn from their bank accounts, rather than in installments.

I saw that in America PayPal Credit had to pay out a lot of money after so many complaints.

So, my questions are:

1. Is it worth bothering with if so many have had trouble with it
2. Is it safe?
3. Has anyone on the boards used it successfully and would recommend it?
4. For what kind of purchases/situations would anyone recommend it? (eg big one off purchase vs regular use.

Any help or advice much appreciated.
