I've just bought a couple of items off ebay and for somereason it has paid with an e-cheque. This is causing significant delays in the sales.
Why has it done this? I've been using the same varified bank details for years, I have positive paypal and bank account balances.
Why did it force me to use e-chques? I'm puzzled.

"Normally" an echeque is sent when you don't have a back up card linked to your paypal account OR that card has expired and needs updating.

I dont understand. My card is verified and well within date, every item ive paid for via paypal has been taken directly from my account as usual except one becaudr its been taken by an e-cheque. Why? Is it so that paypal can hold onto the funds longer? It wasn't even a lsrge amount, less than £40 & now ive hot to wsit for an ordrr i really need. Im so peeved, in future i may just as well pay direct with my card & forget paypal altogether
