I was looking to buy an item from a company's new website. On the Basket page on the merchant's site it had my order being £65, chose pay by PayPal and was transferred to PayPal, logged in, selected payment card etc and clicked the button.
When I was transferred back to the Merchant's site it had my order + my address now populated but the price was now £65 + £8 P&P with a Complete Order button at the bottom.
I didnt want to pay £8 P&P so abandoned the cart.
Can a merchant increase the amount they are charging, from a PayPal perspective, after I've already authorised a lower amount on the PayPal site?
