Greetings, I have a problem with the way my paypal account just handled an Instant Transfer. I made a purchase on Newegg.ca, and selected Instant Transfer as the payment option within paypal. However, a few hours later, I've checked my paypal account and noticed that it charged the amount directly to my credit card. My account is verified, and my card is properly linked to enable instant transfer - In fact an e-bay purchase went through instant transfer just fine. I know that my credit card is to be used as a "backup" in case my bank account lacks the proper funds, but I know my account has enough money to make the purchase - I'm looking at it right now. Why did paypal charge my credit card and not my bank account for this Instant Transfer?
