I received the Paypal receipt by email,I got "The transaction ID in your link is invalid"

Will , I think the title was clear enough
I tried to buy some stuff from a trusted website that uses paypal as the only payment option.
I finished the check out process and recieved the reciept through my email (as usual)
However, I noticed that the payment did not appear in my account even after few hours.
And when I returned to the reciept and tried clicking on the transaction ID , It gives me this messege "The transaction ID in your link is invalid"
I DID NOT change my email at all , in fact I used the same account and the same email to do a successful transaction last week.
What is going on here?
