Currency Conversion

eBay payments in currencies other than GBP used to have the GBP amount charged to my credit card account shown in both the confirming email and on the PayPal accounts page.   I can now longer find this information.   Where is it, please?

Hi Pipthirteen,

Welcome to our community and thanks for posting.

I understand that you want to check the currency conversion that was used.  You can check this you log in to your account and go to 'Activity' at the top left corner. You can click on 'Details' and this will show you the currency that we have used. You should also get an email with this information. If you do not get these emails I would advise to contact us so that we can have a look at that for you.

You can contact us on Twitter: @askPayPal, Facebook https://www.facebook.com/PayPal?sk=wall or you can use the contact us link: https://www.paypal.com/webapps/helpcenter/selfhelp/home/.

I hope this information helps.

I understand that because I use an American Express credit card, even though it is supplied by Barclaycard and transactions are paid through my Barclaycard account using GBP,  the conversion from US Dollars when applicable is not shown.   This is not a major inconvenience but before I can log the amount in my personal records I have to go to my Barclaycard account and isolate that item from the total amount showing as pending transactions or wait for it to be added to my current statement days later; not as satisfactory as it should be.
