Confused about my Ebay payment through paypal!

Hi, I'm newish to Paypal, I only set it up to sell something on Ebay, I never bought anything before. But I bought something yesterday, and Ebay and paypal say the transation is complete, that I have paid, but the money has not come out of my bank account........I'm confused as to why/how the seller has been paid but my money hasn't left. I thought paypal would take th money out of my account?

I also had no money in th paypal account, which is why I thought the money would come straight out of my bank...

Can anyone help explain? 😕

Hi Jadesface

When you pay by ppal, ppal will pay for your item while waiting for the funds to come from your bank account which could take a few days

So the money will come out of your account but not straight away
