I purcashed an item and used paypal to pay for it, then while its pending i cancelled it from the merchant but its still pending on my paypal transactions... how can i cancel it or at least reject the payment so it dosent go through... its still pending.
Did you use your bank account to make your purchase? If so then canceling the payment will keep the money from being sent to the seller but the transfer from your bank account will still be processed.
The money will be deposited into your PayPal account when it's received.
If a subscription payment has been sent because the subscription wasn't cancelled in time, the first place to start would be to contact the merchant and request a refund.

Cancelling the purchase does nothing to cancel the attempt to take money out of your bank account.
They will still try to take money out of your bank account, and you will be billed for NSF fees by your bank if you don't have the money in your account.
