I would like to purchase an item through eBay using my debit card however I have recentely sold an item on eBay so have cleared funds in my paypal account. How do I pay without using the cleared funds in my paypal account and using my debit card only?
You can't, if you have cleared funds in your paypal account balance then paypal will always take from there first and if there is a remainder then the rest from your funding source linked to your paypal account.
Your account balance is the default paying method. The only way to get around this is to withdraw the funds from your paypal balance and send it to your bank account then you can select to pay another way.
