Hi 'am thinking of buying some tickets off 'Gumtree'. Payment is not linked on the site with PayPal, I would have to pay via inserting on PayPal website a email or mobile number of seller. Would I still be covered.

You are fully covered under Buyer Protection for any items purchased through Gumtree as long as you send your payment using the 'Goods/Services' option rather than 'Friends and family'.
