Buying a product to a private seller? Help! Im not sure if this is scam or not ಥ_ಥ

The thing is that I want to buy a consol, so the seller told me to do it via paypal, and I agreed but the deal is... how to do it?

She said :    - you have to send the payment with the ' send money to a relative or friend ' option.

But I've been looking on the internet and as far as Im concerned thats not the way to do it... like sellers need to list the items first with a button and fill the information of the package... (੭ ˃̣̣̥ ㅂ˂̣̣̥)੭ु  Im just scared to receive an empty box or a broken device without any option to recover my money 😞

People there just post the items they are selling and you just meet them or contact, but its not like ebay,  they are just post and then you decide the payment method or the shipment thing...

So Im I right? Is this a scam?

Sellers are not allowed to sell and ask you to pay via friends / family.

They are trying to negate your buyer protection AND evade paying their paypal fees.

Do not go ahead as you will have no protection, report them to paypal.

Sorry can't come back and answer anything else as that gif is really annoying.
