Im trying to buy an item, and i have more than enough in my paypal balance 

but i keep getting we cant send your payment right now

Is there any thing i should do

no? why should it be verified. i have enough in my paypal balance

Do you have a back up card registered to paypal as well?

Are you trying to send the payment internationally where the seller accepts another currency??

No backup card. I have British Pounds in my paypal balance

Its when i try to log and click continue i get we cannot send your payment right now

Think you need a back up card registered and verified on paypal before you can use your balance.

@kernowlass is right, often times you are required to add a card as a security measure.

If you have the funds available in the correct currency and you are receiving this message it sounds like this is the problem.
