Trying to request money from someone, getting an unknown error from Paypal

Hi all,

I'm currently trying to request money from someone. When I put in their email and the amount, I get this popup from PayPal - "There's a problem with your account. Please visit our help center so we can help you resolve this quickly." But it's unclear where I need to go in the help center or what the specific problem is. Any ideas? Thank you!

Thank you for your post and welcome to the Community forum!

If you receive an error message stating that there is an issue with your account, it sounds to me as though your account was limited. You can log in to your Resolution Centre by clicking 'Help and Contact' at the bottom of any PayPal webpage and then 'Resolution Centre' at the top of the page. You should be able to see there some steps to complete to solve the issue.
