Tax Question

Hello! 

I was just asked to submit my social security number because I "sell things" and am paid for them via paypal.  I am a Scentsy Consultant, so instead of getting my customers card information, they pay me on paypal and I pay for their Scentsy items with my own debit card. I already pay taxes on the income I receive via my Scentsy W2. Is there anything I can do to prevent issues at tax time?

This is the exact reason I use Venmo or Cash App now. I have had several payments put on hold by PayPal...when you call you get a runaround. Yes, I know Venmo or Cash App. And yes I know Venmo is a PayPal company but I've never had this problem with receiving money from my customers with Venmo. Paypal has gone downhill in the last couple of years. Not only their customer service is horrible but they keep raising the rates.
