Shipping showed discount, then I printed the label and was debited the full (non-discounted) amount

Just received funds for an item and used the built in "Ship now" function right from my PayPal account.

Saw the initial price, minus a discount, printed the label with the funds coming from my PayPal account.  The amount debited was for the FULL pre-discount price.

Is this normal?  Does the discount get credited back later?  If not, can I somehow cancel the label transaction and go to a cheaper carrier myself?

Click on the postage transaction and click Void Label towards the bottom.

Refunds of labels can range from 7 to 21 days to complete depending on the type service level used.

I noticed that option...I have up to 24 hours so was going to wait a bit and call support directly to see if they can say whats going on.

A little bit shady, if you ask me....showing a discount the whole way, then debiting the full amount.
