Sales Tax on Purchases

I have noticed on recent purchases, the sales tax levied on the total including shipping is a whopping 9.95% while the sales tax for Los Angeles county is 9.5%.  It seems like a small difference but I don't like being charged extra for the privilege of buying on ebay.  Is ebay going to correct the sales tax percentage this or am I missing something?

You'll have to check with eBay because they and PayPal are separate companies since 5+ years. Or did the eBay folks told you to ask PayPal?
