Payment says completed, but I cant see it in my balance or bank account

I don't understand apparently people have been having this problem since 2016, and it's 2020. They said it's a site glitch, but this just seems like a robbery at this point. I'm not sure maybe i'm overreacting a bit because I received money from a customer, and now it's saying that the transaction is complete. The money is nowhere to be seen so there could really be only one explanation to this  from my view point.
