Non-business owner recieved 1099K

I am trying to find out why I am being issued a 1099K when I am not a business owner, do not engage in sales of goods or payments or receive money other than family and friend exchanges and a few sweepstakes prize money (less than $10K and reported on my 1040)?

I have been issued a 1099K saying I had income from sales in the amount of 89K+ in 2017 and $169+K 2018. Paypal is not responsive giving the same answer all customers who conduct sales and services receive a 1099K, again, I do not engage in sales and services and I certainly did not receive $89K in extra income. Their transaction report is incorrect all transactions are fees paid to entertainment expenses and duplicated, saying I received that payment twice for all 462 transactions on 700 pages!  Insane it is. They are saying "payment" as I received whereas "payment" is in my use of the PayPal network to SEND Payments to somebody. Because of this I have received a $51,000 tax bill from the IRS. Does anyone, none robotic have any suggestions or do I just get a lawyer now. 2 weeks of waiting from PayPal and still no reply to my "ticket submitted".

See this for info that may help:

Look for the bit about IRS-B Notice. You could have gotten someone else's 1099K.

Try contacting customer service for assistance (you have to be persistent until you can get someone that will listen):

Log on, click HELP on top menu, scroll down to click CONTACT US, and then scroll down to click CALL US or other contact options.

Call early, during business hours, west coast time to try to get a US rep.

Or contact via social media:

Kudos & Solved are greatly appreciated. 🙂
