I recently sent an invoice for $26 with the "add tip" option allowed. Now I see that I have received a payment for $30 but rather than the invoice showing a line item for the $4.00 tip it is showing "Amount Due: -$4.00"... is this how tips usually show up on paypal invoices or did my client accidentally overpay? This does not seem like a very good way to track and allocate funds if this is how it usually works, does anyone else have experience with tipping via paypal invoices?
