Invoices not sending or delayed

Over the last 48 hours or so I have sent several invoices by email and my customers have not reeived them for several hours or not at all. Nor have I had the email confirmation that each invoice has been sent. Is there a problem? Or solution?. Support could not advise this morning. I have had to send the link directly but even that isn't working in some cases
