I am a freelance writer and I’ve been using the PayPal invoicing since early last year. I love the ease of use! However, I do have on small problem for which I seek a solution. One of my clients pays me $0.166667 per word, but the invoice only lets me charge either 0.16 or 0.17. Since I can’t charge up without the client noticing, I’m stuck charging only 0.16 cents per word. I know that sounds small, but many of my projects are fairly large, and the price difference can be between $50-80 per project. I don’t scoff at 50 bucks!
Have any other freelancers dealt with this issue? Or are there other ways to charge the amount I’m actually due?
I’ve written to PayPal a few times and suggested that they allow for that functionality with invoicing, but I’ve heard nothing back. So, I’m turning to the community for guidance. Thanks for your help!
