I send invoices for digital goods frequently but I notice when the payment has been made there are shipping options, like put in a tracking number. How do I remove this from the invoice? There is potential for fraudsters to claim a chargeback on the grounds they never received a physical item in the mail, even though there never was one in the first place.
If you are selling digital items and you don't have tracking information, you can still mark the items as processed through the transaction details page on the PayPal website.
When you do this, it will help with your funds being released sooner if they have been placed on hold.
