How do I cancel a customer payment?

Hello!
A customer of mine made a payment recently, but accidentally used an old checking account. The payment was pending for a while, but has now been rejected. The notification I received from PayPal says that they will attempt the payment again in 3 days, but it will again be rejected.
I can't seem to find a place to just cancel the payment and issue a new invoice.
Any assistance that could be offered would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
