How do I apply cash payments to an existing PayPal invoice?

I’ve issued an invoice. The customer gave me cash to apply to the balance. How can I apply this to their existing invoice to reflect the new balance owed? Thanks for your help!

Thank you for your post! For the receipt of a cash payment that would not reflect in the payment history of your account, you may need to make a new invoice.
