I have an online business & also a storefront business. I have been in business for 3 years with a reputable business and a fully functioning LLC.
I have used Paypal in the past. Recently, we relaunched our online store and began accepting Paypal. We had out first paypal order totaling $22. After Paypal verified this customer, we received an email that our account was a "risk" and had been closed. I have tried to reach out to Paypal with no further reply other than "paypal reserves the right to close any account reported to be involved in possible fraudulent or high-risk behaviour."
However, I have done nothing high risk!! Has anyone experienced anything of this nature? It's incredibly frustrating that Paypal refuses to provide and legitimate evidence.
@kiptooj did you ever get a reason why? are you still closed?
