I use my PayPal account to receive deposits for tourist trips. I have a gentleman telling me he can't make the deposit payment because PayPal are asking for his tax number when he tries to pay my invoice with his credit card. Is this true? Or is he just trying to avoid making the deposit payment. Can someone help me please. I've used PayPal for years and haven't come across this claim before.
