Can you describe your scenario a little bit more in detail? Do you have some way to automate PayPal invoicing already and just looking to customize it? if so, what exact customization you are looking at?
If you are looking to automate PayPal invoicing while also customizing, then if you could make API requests yourself then this PayPal Invoicing REST API is the solution.
