Hi,
I have taken over responsibility for a PayPal business account, which I did not get set up however we have transferred it under my details now.
I am trying to link the PayPal account to our Squarespace business account so we can accept donations and orders (it is a charity). when I try to link the PayPal account I receive the following message "Looks like your trying to connect to an existing PayPal account. For security reasons, only the person who created the PayPal account can do that'.
This seems strange that it would be limited to the person who set up the PayPal account initatlly, as people can change roles within business.
Does anyone have any ideas how we can resolve?
