combining 2 paypal accounts to one

I ended up with two pp accts with checking acct on one and cc card on the other.

can i close one and have only one acct.

Absolutely you can close one and keep the other.  To close a PayPal Account, please follow these steps:

1. Log in to your PayPal account.
2. Click "Profile."
3. Click "Close Account" under Account Information.
4. Click "Continue."
5. Let us know why you want to close your account.
6. Click "Continue," then click "Close Account."

Once you have closed one of the accounts, you can use the information from that account on the other account.

How does the balance in the closed account get posted to the other account?

If the account is already closed, you can give our Customer Service a call.  They would be happy to assist with getting the funds to you from the closed account.
