invoice sent to one email address, but recieved from a different email address

Hi someone contacted me to send them an item listed on my website (not an ebay sale).
ive sent them an ebay invoice on email address "A"
the payment has come through on email address "B" - with an unconfirmed postal address.
in paypal it shows as if i have sent the invoice to email address "B" - but ive definatly confirmed i did NOT send it to "B"
whats going on, am i being scammed?
can anyone help?

Welcome to the Community Forum.
If the person paying you has more than one email address on their PayPal account this could be why you are seeing a different email when you are being paid. Once you have the payment in your account it is safe to send your item.
In relation to the shipping address it does not need to be confirmed. Once you ship to the address you see on the transaction you are covered by PayPal seller protection.
What I would recommend looking out for is, that the payment is sent as a commercial not a personal payment and it should be marked as goods if you are selling an item.
