Sending Money!!

I am trying to send money as a gift from the United Kingdom to a Canada account. It keeps saying that I need to add money to my account even though i have enough money in the account. Why?? I have done this many times before and this is the first time this has happened

If you are sending from funds in your paypal balance then nearly always you need to send it in the same currency as the recipient.

The only time you don't is when the recipient has set up their paypal account to accept other currencies.

You may need to change the currency from sterling to canadian dollars before you can send but their will be conversion fees applying.
