Pending Until 24 Aug 2012

Hi. This is the first time I've ever had a problem with PayPal and EBAY. I made an instant payment on 1 item the other day and my payment went through ok, now I bought another item off EBAY and it's saying on my PayPal account Pending Until 24 Aug 2012 Funding Type:eCheque I've never come across this before and now I don't know how to pay for this item? any advice? thanks

An eCheque is usually sent if the backup funding source is not confirmed or if one has not yet been added.

The backup funding source for your bank account is your card (credit or debit). Make sure that you have this confirmed on your PayPal account as this significantly reduces the change of an eCheque being sent.

See if you can complete this process on your primary card to confirm it.

1. Go to www.paypal.co.uk and log in to your account.
2. Click ‘Profile’ near the top of the page.
3. Click 'My money.'
4. Click 'Update' beside 'Debit and credit cards.'
5. Click ‘Link and Confirm My Card.’
6. Click ‘Save and Continue.’
