How do i show an item has been shipped in my PayPal account?

i have sold an item (not on ebay) and i cannot recieve the payment for it until i show that it has been shipped with a tracking number but where do i do that?!

someone please help!!

Welcome to the Community Forum.

You can add tracking information to your payment through the transaction details. 

Here’s how to add your tracking information to the transaction:

1. Go to www.paypal.co.uk and log in to your account.
2. Click ‘History’ near the top of the page.
3. Find the relevant transaction.
4. Click ‘Details.’
5. Click ‘Add Tracking Info’ under ‘Postage’ near the bottom of the page.
6. Complete the required information on the ‘Enter Tracking Information and Order Status’ page.
7. Click ‘Save.’

If your payment is held to wait for this shipping you will need to send us an email also to let us know the tracking is showing the item is delivered. We can then release the funds for you.

Please note that even if we hold the funds you will always be able to see the money in your PayPal account. We will never ask you to send an item if you have not received a payment.
