Hello, I have a question too.

After receiving payment, I got a notification that my account is exceeded X amount of money and I have to send in additional information about my identity and adress so that you guys can confirm it. Hovewer I'm waiting for the response for over 14 days now. I am worried about that my account gets locked or something, especially because I've just read a post on the forum that someone had the same situation like me and he didn't get confirmed in the given 30 day time period.

How long does it take to confirm the submitted information?  Also can I get any feedback that the submitted information is correct or that it's under review?

Hi @Roland91,

Oh no! I'm sorry to hear it's still in review. 😞 You can check the status in the Resolution Center - if we're asking for more information due to the original submissions not being sufficient, it should be there. If we had any kind of update, or requested additional details, an email would have been sent. If you haven't received any word back and the Resolution Center still says we're reviewing your documents, I would suggest contacting us either by phone, Facebook, or Twitter so that we can look into this further. Thank you! 🙂

The problem is that it doesn't matter how many times I click on "Resolve", the status is always the same:

   "Waiting for your response"

When I click on "Resolve" again, I got a message saying:

"Thank you for providing the required information. We will get back to you within a few business days."

Hey @Roland91,

That's definitely not good! In this case, there may be an issue with the website. Please reach out to us either by phoneFacebook, or Twitter and we'll see what options we have to help!

I want to buy concert tickets from someone local off craigslist.  I want to use paypal to get the buyer protection.  Is this covered under the buyer protection?  If they don't email the tickets or if they are fake would I be able to dispute this through paypal?  Any advice would be great!  The person seems very rebutable so I'm not too worried.   But better safe than sorry!

Hey @Karehunny,

Great question! You're right, always better to make sure you're covered. 🙂

If you send the payment for Goods & Services, you'll be covered with our Purchase Protection. If they don't provide the tickets you pay for, you can dispute the transaction for a refund. If the seller is unwilling to work with you, you can always escalate the dispute to a claim, which will allow PayPal to investigate the situation and make a decision based on the evidence provided. If the seller can't prove they deilvered you the goods or service, your payment would be refunded.  Hopefully this helpls, and I hope you enjoy the concert!
