How Community Chat works:
The chat opens at 4pm GMT. Once the chat is open, PayPal Community members may participate and ask questions by using the "Reply to topic" button.
In order to post in the chat, you must be a PayPal Community member. If you'd like email updates on the chat, click the "Options" menu and select Subscribe.
During the chat, PayPal Moderators will answer general PayPal questions in real-time.
At 5pm GMT, the chat will close and lock. Any questions that have not yet been responded to by a moderator or employee will receive a response within the following hour.

Hi, I have a personal account with PayPal. I started to change it to a business account but changed my mind mid way through. Now I am stuck in the business questions and can’t access my personal account. How can I delete this business thing and revert to my old personal account? I live in Ireland and the phone number listed on the contact help page doesn’t work.

If you have started the process to upgrade the account, you will need to contact our Customer Support to downgrade the account. You can send a request through the secure Message Centre found in your Help section. In regards, to our number in Ireland, the current valid number is 1800 948510. I have just checked this number and it is working fine.
