I also love Iron Man! I love that everyone knows his alternate identity. It's an interesting fact that he behaves so irresponsibly, but with a commonly known identity his accountability is so much greater than that of other superheroes.

Have been trying since Monday, July 16, to issue partial refund but get message 'We can't process any refund at this moment due to technical reasons. Please try again later.'. Why" I have sufficient paypal balance, I called Paypal and they said no problem, just some update going on with no estimated completion. Well, it's 3 days later and my buyer is getting anxious. What is wrong with the refund process against original transaction only 10 days old??

Welcome to the Community chat! Sorry that your frustration is what drove you here. 😞
There's obviously a little confusion from whoever you spoke with as we do have a known issue with issuing refunds right now. We're actively working on a resolution but currently we don't have a fix in place.
When you called in, did the agent attempt to issue the refund for you? If not, I would recommending giving us another call, explain that this is a known issue, and that we need to issue a partial refund for you.
Again, our apologies, but I think we can get this wrapped up with one more call.

OK, I don't know who I spoke with, but they asked someone else while I was on hold (Monday), and then indicated there was no problem with my account, but that an update was being done with no estimated completion. She only suggested using the 'send money' option, which is what I don't want to use.
I will call in again. Rather exasperating, I would suspect you are getting a lot of calls.

Re: refund issue, Just got online with Paypal 'JO' and she had same answer, no estimated completion for resolving the issue and all they can do is indicate I'm having issues to the sysad. Not much help. The sys specialist will email me when issue is resolved.
Not very happy with this lack of resolution and no attempt at 'manual' refund to effect proper result. The buyer is left with no refund the way he wished until that time.
