This week's Community Chat is now open and unlocked!

Our moderator staff will be available for the next hour to answer your questions about PayPal, get to know you, or just have idle conversation.  We do ask that posts follow the PayPal Community Help Forum Policy and the Forum Guidelines.

Once the session is over, this thread will be locked again, but you will be able to view the content in the forums.  This chat is a regular feature every Wednesday from 4-5 PM CST, so if you missed us this week, please feel free to stop by in the future! We want to get to know you!

For today's ice breaker, let's talk about Valentine's Day Gift Ideas or good ideas you used in the past.  Let's keep it PG, though. :smileyhappy:

If you see a helpful post, please accept it as a solution or give the author kudos. 🙂 Thanks!

Hi everyone,

Hmm, Valentine's Day.  Isn't that like April Fool's day? I always get them mixed up. 😛

I would just like to say that I'm very open to suggestions - I'm fresh out of ideas.

Ones I've used in the past are a bit detailed (and PG, don't worry), but if you really want to know, I can post some of the stories here.  Smiley Happy

Hi everyone!

Chocolate is always a great idea... unless your sweetie is lactose intolerant. It's a good idea to ask now. 🙂

I would recommend against getting your valentine a vacuum or iron, no matter how much the years have caused pragmatism to replace frivolity. 🙂

Well, I don't know. If you follow traditional gender roles, my understanding is that men love that type of thing over and above sentimental stuff. I've heard stories of them getting weepy over receiving really well-made tools, but I'm sure I wasn't supposed to have heard those stories. 🙂

Olivia -

Oh, I would be ecstatic over a good set of paint brushes, personally.  Or for that matter, a cheap set.  I tend to go through them so fast.  I would almost be worried if someone gave me a very well made tool or item, as I'd likely break it Smiley Sad
